Both were charged Friday Jan. 2 with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute a controlled substance after police stopped a vehicle.

According to court documents, a paid source tipped off authorities one of the accused had arranged to transport the drugs from Akwesasne to Oswego County and was travelling with her supplier.

Police intercepted the vehicle during the transport, a week before Christmas, and allegedly seized $30,000 worth of ecstasy.

Both Lazore and Cook are being held without bail in a jail near Albany, N.Y.
