BROCKVILLE – The St. Lawrence College Cornwall Sharks made it all the way to the semi-finals before losing to the host team Friday afternoon at the 12th Annual Schooners Invitational.
The Schooners defeated Cornwall 3-1 and then the Brockville team went on to take the championship over McMaster University.
Prior to reaching the championship game, the Schooners defeated the SLC Cornwall Sharks 3-1 in the semifinals.
Earlier in the day on Friday, the SLC Cornwall Sharks won 9-1 over the La Cité Coyotes in the quarterfinals.
