Fatal house fire in Winchester

WINCHESTER – One person has died in a house fire in Winchester.

SD&G O.P.P. and the North Dundas Fire Department were called to a home on Sesame Street around 11:25 p.m. Wednesday night.

After putting out the blaze, firefighters found human remains of one victim inside the home.

No other details have been released.

The Ontario Fire Marshal, the Ontario Coroner’s Office are being assisted by the O.P.P. offices with an investigation.
