Two charged after vehicle found in Highway 401 median

SOUTH STORMONT – Two Quebec residents are facing drug-related charges after their vehicle was found in the median of Highway 401 Monday afternoon.

SD&G O.P.P. were called about a vehicle in the median on a stretch of the highway, west of Cornwall.

Police say they found some marijuana and cocaine in the vehicle.

The male driver, 25, from Saint-Lin-Laurentides and a woman passenger, 19, from Sainte-Jerome were arrested and charged.

They will be in a Cornwall court in January.
