CORNWALL – If you have dress-down Fridays at work, you’ll fit right in wearing a hockey jersey this week.
Friday is Jersey Day in the City of Cornwall as the municipality encourages you to show your love and support for sport by wearing a sports jersey to school, work or just around town.
The city is also encouraging you to share a photo on Twitter to @CityofCornwall with the hashtag #Cornwalljerseyday
It’s also the day before Sports Day in Canada on Saturday when communities from across the country will join in a national celebration of sport.
The day is sponsored by Royal Bank of Canada and is presented by ParticipACTION, CBC and True Sport.
