CORNWALL – An event at Cornwall Square next week is being dubbed “everything you might want to know about your water but weren’t sure who to ask.”

The City of Cornwall Blueprint Program and the St. Lawrence River Institute of Environmental Sciences is holding a “Water in Your World Showcase” at the mall on Thursday (Nov. 20) from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Some might take the St. Lawrence River for granted but the River Institute says you may not realize that six million Canadians access their drinking water from this river as well.

The goal of the showcase is to provide information that ensures public involvement that supports drinkable, fishable, swimmable, sustainable water, and best practices.

There will be a number of special guests at the Thursday expo.
