SD&SG – Saying he’s always impressed with the feedback he gets locally, MP Guy Lauzon has started pre-budget consultation in the riding.
Lauzon will sit down with constituents and local stakeholders in two weeks to come up with ideas and challenges that need to be addressed in the spring budget.
This will be the tenth year Lauzon has hosted pre-budget feedback roundtables.
Lauzon says the talks will concentrate on five key questions including how the government can help with the cost of living and raising a family and how the government can make sure people are getting the skill they need for the job market.
The first one-hour roundtable will be held Monday, Nov. 24 at 8 a.m. at the McIntosh Inn in Morrisburg.
The second will be held the next day at 8 a.m. at the Cornwall Ramada at 8 a.m.
The suggestions will be given to Finance Minister Joe Oliver as he puts together Ottawa’s final fiscal document before we go to the polls in October, 2015.
You need to RSVP by calling Francine Lepage at 613-937-3331 or emailing reception@guylauzon.ca by Friday, Nov. 21.
