CORNWALL – Plans for the condominium build at the corner of Pitt and Second Streets will be up for review next month.

The city’s Planning Advisory Committee will hold a public meeting on Nov. 17 on the proposed draft plan of condominium.

Developer Ron Chenier is proposing a 15 suite complex with each unit from 2,379 to 2,551 sq. ft…nearly double the size of traditional bungalows.

The four storey building, on the northeast corner of Pitt and Second, will also have three commercial units.

Chenier had indicated that construction would begin once 65 per cent of the units had been sold. As of Thursday, the Dominion Place website shows three of the 15 units and one of the three commercial spaces have been sold.

A presentation center was opened a few blocks away at 26 First Street West this summer.

The public meeting on the condo plan will be held Nov. 17 at the council chambers at city hall (360 Pitt Street) at 7 p.m.
