LONG SAULT, Ont. – A Cornwall-area bank branch is helping out Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers. Officials with Scotiabank Alexandria presented a cheque for $2,000 to the local coordinator of the program. The money comes from the Crime Stoppers’ annual golf tournament at the Glengarry Golf & Country Club, which was held in July.

Crime Stoppers gives cash rewards for anonymous tipsters that help law enforcement make an arrest which results in the conviction of someone related to a crime.
