Four drivers in SD&G have vehicles impounded

SD&G, Ont. – Four drivers had their vehicles impounded for a week for excessive speeding. Local O.P.P. doing radar enforcement on Highway 401 over the holiday weekend caught a vehicle on Saturday afternoon in South Dundas allegedly going 154 km/h. A 23-year-old woman from Ajax is charged. Then police caught a vehicle in South Glengarry on Sunday around noon going 152 km/h. There’s no details on the driver charged. The high-flyer of the weekend was caught on Sunday night allegedly whipping through South Dundas at 203 km/h. A 32-year-old man from North Dundas is charged. The weekend wrapped up with a 57-year-old Montreal man charged after police clocked a vehicle going 174 km/h in South Stormont. In all cases, the drivers had their vehicles impounded for a week and their licences seized for seven days.
