CORNWALL, Ont. – City police are urging witnesses to come forward after a cyclist was struck on Brookdale Ave. It happened around noon yesterday at the intersection of Cobble Hill Dr. Police say the elderly cyclist was rushed to hospital by ambulance after being hit by a silver Ford Focus. The street was reduced to two lanes (from four) for several hours yesterday as police investigated. The condition of the cyclist is not known.
