Two arrested with laptop, licence plates in North Glengarry

DALKEITH, Ont. – Two people from Nova Scotia are facing charges after police checked a vehicle parked at a commercial property northwest of Dalkeith. SD&G O.P.P. found the vehicle on Service Road around 8:45 a.m. yesterday and learned the two people in it were in breach of several court-imposed conditions. Police say they also found a stolen laptop and licence plates in the vehicle. A 23-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were arrested. The man is charged with three counts of possession of stolen property and five counts of failing to comply with recognizance. The woman is charged with four counts of failing to comply with recognizance. Both are being held and will appear in Cornwall bail court today.
