CORNWALL, Ont. – St. Lawrence College students in Cornwall have a new option to get on the bus. Cornwall Transit will be offering semester-based student passes. They will cost $125 as opposed to $250 for the annual pass. The transit authority is also working with the college to have stickers put on student I.D. cards so students won’t have to carry an extra transit pass card. The semester and annual stickers will be available through the student union office. Cornwall Student Union President Marc Benoit says it’s β€œan exciting step by providing more affordable and sustainable transit options.” This is the latest project to increase ridership and promote public transit in the Seaway City.
