Fairgoer arrested twice in one weekend in North Dundas

SOUTH MOUNTAIN, Ont. – This man didn’t get the message the first time. A South Mountain fairgoer was arrested Friday night after police found the 27-year-old North Dundas man allegedly purchasing or consuming booze at the festivities. He was charged with three counts of failing to comply with a probation order. He was released with a promise to appear in court. Then police found the same man on Sunday night under the influence of alcohol and being aggressive. He was arrested again and charged with three counts of failing to comply with a probation order, causing a disturbance, possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), being intoxicated in a public place and failing to leave the premises when directed. He was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall bail court.
