CORNWALL, Ont. – Two Ottawa Senators will be dropping by Cornwall today as part of the team’s Hometown Tour. Chris Phillips and Mark Stone are holding an autograph session in Brockville this afternoon before heading to Cornwall tonight. The Hometown Tour will be in the Seaway City at the Canadian Tire from 4 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Phillips and Stone will also be holding an autograph session from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. In order to get an autograph you have to have a wristband which is available at the Canadian Tire at 201 Ninth Street East starting at 9 a.m. this morning.
As for the Sens team captain, that’s still up in the air. Senators Owner Eugene Melnyk is expected to make an announcement at noon today and all three levels of government are reportedly going to be there for the Ottawa “community announcement.”
The Ottawa Senators open their season at home on October 16, 2014 against the Colorado Avalanche.
