SD&G, Ont. — The showers today are just a taste of what’s to come. Cornwall and SD&G are under a rainfall warning this evening. Environment Canada says the rain tonight through early tomorrow morning will bring rainfall totals to 50-70 millimeters over a 24 hour period. Heavier amounts will be localized while many places will have less than 50 millimeters. The weather agency is warning travelers to be careful as heavy downpours could lead to flash floods and water ponding on roads.
