BROCKVILLE, Ont. – A well-known Seaway Valley cruise line in motoring into a new port. Brockville-based 1000 Islands & Seaway Cruises is expanding its experience to Craiger’s Resort near Rockport, along the 1000 Islands Parkway. The scenic boating experience has been running from Craiger’s Resort for about a month but President Andrew Neeteson says they had to clear a number of hurdles with the Canada Border Services Agency before they could make an official announcement today. Those challenges included allowing the boat to conduct stop-overs at Boldt and Singer Castles. 1000 Islands & Seaway Cruises will be using a smaller vessel in Rockport – the 100 passenger “General Brock III.” Tour prices range from $25-$42 for adults. For more information visit the 1000 Island Cruises website.
