SOUTH GLENGARRY, Ont. — Three Quebecers are facing a number of charges are being caught with drugs and open alcohol in a vehicle. SD&G O.P.P. say they checked a vehicle on Saturday night around 8 p.m. on County Road 2 in South Glengarry. Officers allegedly found marijuana, methamphetamine pills and open liquor in the vehicle. Two men and a woman were arrested. A 34-year-old man from Odden is charged with possession of a controlled substance and failing to wear a seatbelt. A 51-year-old woman from Sherbrooke is charged with possession of a controlled substance and having open liquor in a vehicle. The third suspect – a 21-year-old Sherbrooke man – is charged with possession of a controlled substance. All were released with a promise to appear in Alexandria court in September.
