Remembering Melissa Richmond

OTTAWA, Ont. – A vigil was held last night in the south end of Ottawa to remember Melissa Richmond. The 28-year-old Winchester woman was reported missing on July 24, 2013. Her body was found in a ravine on Bank Street next to the South Keys Shopping Center on September 28, 2013. Roughly a dozen people visited the site last night to remember Melissa. Her husband, 51-year-old Howard Richmond, is facing a charge of first-degree murder. He’s due to appear in court this fall.
