CORNWALL – A girls under-14 softball team from Cornwall finished fourth in its first tournament of the season in Kemptville.

The Shoeless Joe’s U14 Cornwall Girls Softball Selects dropped their opener to Gloucester on Friday (June 8) but then defeated Kemptville Team 1 Saturday morning (June 9).

In the semi-final on Sunday (June 10), they beat Kemptville Team 2 but lost 15-14 in the B Final on Sunday afternoon to a strong team from Kenmore.

The girls team has another tournament in July in Mississauga and then Provincials in Unionville in mid-August.
