Truck catches fire in Cornwall car wash

CORNWALL – City firefighters had to put out a truck fire at a car wash this afternoon (Wednesday).

The four-wheel drive truck caught fire in a bay of Four Seasons Car Wash on Brookdale Avenue around 2:30 p.m. causing clouds of smoke around the business.

Three fire trucks were on scene shortly after and were able to extinguish the blaze.

The truck was later towed while there was no visible damage to the building.

Firefighters wrapped up at the scene around 3:20 p.m.
