INGLESIDE – Provincial police have identified the driver killed earlier this month in one of two crashes on Highway 401, west of Cornwall.

Jasmin Campeau, 31, of Cornwall died Sept. 8 when his vehicle collided with a tractor trailer in the eastbound lanes near Ingleside.

At the time, SD&G O.P.P. Const. Tylor Copeland said the area was congested with traffic that was detouring off the highway from an overnight wreck involving three tractor trailers.

Police have yet to positively identify the one trucker killed in that Sept. 7 crash, east of Moulinette Road.

The victim was in a truck that burst into flames upon impact when it got caught between two other trucks.
