LONG SAULT – A woman has non-life threatening injuries after a Saturday collision involving two motorcycles at a Long Sault intersection.

SD&G O.P.P., the Cornwall-SDG Paramedic Service and South Stormont firefighters were called to the intersection of County Road 2 and Moulinette Road around 11:30 a.m.

Police say a black 2017 Harley Davidson STN, driven by a woman, and a red 2014 Harley Davidson FLHTK, driven by a man, collided.

Const. Tylor Copeland told Cornwall Newswatch the female driver was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with making an improper turn (turn not in safety).

The other motorcycle rider was not hurt, police said.
