HAWKESBURY – Vincent Robillard had a hat trick to power the Cornwall Colts to a 5-4 win over the Hawks on Friday night at the Robert Hartley Sports Complex.

Josh Peladeau and Brennan Markell added singles for Cornwall.

This is the second win in a row for the Colts, who beat Kemptville 3-1 on Thursday.

The Colts are fourth in the Robinson Division with 42 points – six points out from the leader, Carleton Place.

Cornwall will have some time off before they play again on Thursday, Dec. 15 at home to Smiths Falls.

Meanwhile, the team is taking part in the fourth annual Benson Colts Celebrity Charity Hockey Game on Sunday (Dec. 11) at 3 p.m. at the Benson Center for the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Two Colts playing out west

Two Colts you likely won’t see on the ice for the next little while are Nick Lalonde and Sebastian Dirven.

They are playing for Team Canada East at the World Junior A Hockey Challenge in Bonnyville, Alta. from Dec. 11 until Dec. 17.
