CORNWALL – The St. Joseph’s Panthers defeated the Holy Trinity Falcons 10-7 at the 10th annual Charity Bowl.
The tables have turned for Holy Trinity – a team which dominated the game in past years – in the charity game at Joe St. Denis Field on Fourth Street.
This is the second year St. Joe’s has won after a 29-19 win in 2015.
Holy Trinity had won the match for the previous three years.
The two English Catholic high schools play for bragging rights and a $2 entry fee raised money for the Good Samaritan Trust Fund and food for the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
The Panthers now have a 6-4 edge overall.
