SOUTH DUNDAS – Hot, dry conditions have forced another SD&G municipality to put burning restrictions in place.

The Municipality of South Dundas announced Friday that a burning ban was in effect immediately for the township, which includes open air fires and camp fires.

North Stormont put a ban in place on Tuesday (June 21) and South Stormont put the restriction in place on Monday (June 20).

With dry conditions and no significant rain, North Glengarry put their “no fires” rule in place last weekend.

If you want to have a camp fire this weekend, South Glengarry may be your best bet. It’s the only township that doesn’t have restrictions.
