CORNWALL – The Cornwall River Kings have traded their second pick in this weekend’s LNAH draft for a pair of forwards.

Cornwall will get Olivier Croteau, Jeremy Vigneault-Belanger and three picks (8th, 16th, 33rd) from the Jonquiere Marquis.

The River Kings are giving their second overall pick and the rights to Sefan Chaput, who played two games during the 2013-14 season.

Cornwall still has first pick in the Saturday draft in Sorel-Tracy, Que.

“Croteau is a player I’ve coveted for some time now; he’s a big, physical power forward that we really needed,” general manager Rick Lalonde said. “And Vigneault-Belanger puts up points wherever he plays; he will definitely help our offence in 2016-17.”
