Fire bans lifted in SD&G

SD&G – With the recent rain, a number of townships have cancelled their open burning bans.

South Dundas cancelled their notice today (June 7) while South Stormont lifted its burning ban on Monday.

North Dundas has also lifted its fire ban.

The balance of the SD&G townships had no notices in place.

The region got 10-30 millimeters (0.39-1.18 inches) of rain on Sunday and more showers on Monday.
