CORNWALL – The River Kings have picked up Martin Larivere from Thetford Mines.

In exchange, Cornwall has sent Maxime Vachon to the Assurancia.

Larivere, described by the team as a “super pest” and fan favourite, is a ten year LNAH veteran.

In 303 regular season games, the 33-year-old has earned 2,206 penalty minutes. He picked up 210 alone last season with Thetford.

“He’s exactly the type of player we need right now here in Cornwall,” said coach Bob Desjardins. “He’s a tough character and Martin brings leadership into our dressing room as he’s won before in this league.”

The LNAH draft is June 18, 2016 in Sorel, Que.
