Crash at Fourth and Pitt Streets

CORNWALL – Emergency crews tended to, what appears to be a serious crash, at the intersection of Fourth and Pitt Streets Sunday night.

It happened around 10:30 p.m. involving a pickup truck and a sport utility vehicle (Chevrolet Avalanche SUV Truck).

One of the vehicles ended up a distance away from the intersection, outside the Seaway Valley Community Health Center.

Firefighters, paramedics and police were on scene.

Firefighters wrapped up their work around 11:15 p.m. while police were still investigating.

There’s no word on how many victims there were or the extent of their injuries.
