CORNWALL – Thieves have been making off with the contents of people’s vehicles in Cornwall, prompting city police to issue an alert.
Seeing an increase in thefts, the Cornwall Community Police Service sent out a public reminder Friday, urging people to be proactive to protect their vehicles and contents.
The force suggests parking your car or truck in a well lit area, lock it and to remove your belongings.
Anyone who has witnessed thefts from vehicles is asked to call the anonymous tip line at 613-933-5000 extension 2404.
