SD&G – Local O.P.P. officers caught their share of distracted drivers during a province-wide distracted driving campaign.

Officers issued a total of 33 distracted driving related charges during the campaign or nearly five a day.

The campaign ran from March 14-20, 2015.

This initiative also had a busy social media component as children viewed, shared and chimed in on road safety, including the production of posters.

Part of the road safety program includes a public education element and the social media strategy fills part of that goal.
