AKWESASNE, Que. – Residents in Snye and St. Regis will be digging a little deeper to pay their hydro bill starting in April.
Hydro Quebec has announced a 2.9 per cent increase in electricity rates, starting April 1.
The hike is expected to cost the average household an extra $44 a year.
