LANCASTER – South Glengarry is looking for a few good men and women to join their fire department.

South Glengarry Fire Services will be holding a recruitment drive on April 25 at 8:30 a.m. at the Lancaster fire station.

To be considered for the department you need to live in the district and be able to respond to emergencies in a timely nature.

The districts include stations in Glen Walter, Martintown, Williamstown, Lancaster and North Lancaster.

Fire Chief Vic Leroux calls it a challenging and rewarding experience.

You have to fill out an application form and submit it before April 22. The form is available on the South Glengarry website or at the Lancaster municipal office at 6 Oak Street.
