NORTH DUNDAS – SD&G O.P.P. are looking for the driver responsible for a hit and run on Wednesday.
The collision occurred at approximately 4:23 p.m. at the intersection of County Road 1 and Nelson Road.
The investigation has determined that a passenger vehicle was rear ended by the truck as the car was trying to make a turn.
The driver fled the scene before police arrived.
The truck is described as a full sized, white diesel pick-up truck, with dual rear wheels.
Damage from the collision should be evident on the front of the truck, say police.
The truck was last seen heading south, towards the South Mountain area.
