SD&G – SD&G O.P.P. seized three vehicles and charged three drivers for excessive speeding between Christmas Eve and Boxing Day.
All of the drivers were under the age of 30.
The high flier of the holiday was a 2014 Land Rover, which an O.P.P. officer clocked at 171 km/h on Highway 401 in South Dundas.
The driver, 21, from Toronto was charged and – like the other drivers – had his licence suspended for a week and his vehicle impounded for the same amount of time.
