CORNWALL – With a mild Sunday and some freezing drizzle in the forecast you may not be thinking about pulling your vehicle into the driveway tonight (Sunday).

But you should be aware that overnight parking restrictions in Cornwall go in effect at 1 a.m. Monday.

No parking is allowed on the street from 1 a.m. until 7 a.m. and that stays in effect until March 31, 2015.

If you’re caught with your ride curbside overnight it’s a $25 fine.

During the lighter restrictions from Nov. 15 to Dec. 14 we only had one night when on-street overnight parking was prohibited – that was Dec. 10 when a nor’easter dumped up to 30 centimeters of snow on the city.
