CORNWALL – The CAO has left the building…well, not quite.

Norm Levac was supposed to retire at the end of the year.

But with so many new faces around the city council table and a 2015 budget in the wings, Levac was convinced to stick around a little while longer to help navigate the city.

Mayor Leslie O’Shaughnessy is pleased with the decision.

“His experience and familiarity with city issues will be extremely beneficial to the new council as they embark on this term. Mr. Levac has enjoyed working as CAO for the past two years and he understands the importance of assisting the new council during this transition period,” the mayor said.

When Levac decides to hang up his hat, he’s agreed to give three month’s notice.
