SOUTH STORMONT/CORNWALL – One person was taken to hospital by ambulance as a precaution after a three vehicle crash on Cornwall Centre Road.
The collision between a Dodge Caravan, Jeep Grand Cherokee and a Nissan Sentra, happened just after 4 p.m. in a valley between two hills, between Pitt Street and McConnell Avenue.
SD&G EMS loaded one person in an ambulance while another woman, one of two women in the Sentra, was treated at the scene by paramedics.
The two occupants in the Dodge Caravan sat in their vehicle while police investigated.
SD&G O.P.P. took down details of the case and interviewed witnesses.
However, since the road is in Cornwall’s jurisdiction, the case has been turned over to city police.
The section of Cornwall Centre Road between Pitt Street and McConnell Avenue was closed by South Stormont Township firefighters until roughly 5:30 p.m.
