CORNWALL – A Cornwall man is facing nine charges in connection to vehicle and car wash break-ins during the summer.
City police say a thief made off with power equipment, electronics and personal property from two locked vehicles.
The same person is also alleged to have tried to break into a local car wash and did get into a second one where he took an undisclosed amount of cash.
Following a police investigation, an 18-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on Monday.
He is charged with mischief over $5,000, break and enter, theft under $5,000, three counts of mischief under $5,000, attempted break and enter and two counts of theft over $5,000.
He is being held for a bail hearing.
