What happened to summer?

CORNWALL, Ont. – Many people in SD&G are probably hunting through the closets for their hoodies and jackets this morning. A cold front, which brought us a deluge of rain Tuesday and Wednesday, has ushered in some unseasonably cool air. The high today is expected to climb to just 13 degrees. That’s 12 degrees below normal for this time of year according to Environment Canada.

Things are expected to be a lot cooler in the Ottawa Valley where the region is expected to record to coolest Aug. 14 on record with a forecast high of 13 degrees.

The cool weather, courtesy of a stalled cold front over Eastern Ontario, is expected to stick around until the weekend when daytime highs will pop back up into the 20s.
